WRITING FOR ALL FAMILY RESOURCES

HOW TO SUBMIT A PROJECT

Projects should be approximately 800-3000 words. Authors with projects of more than 3000 words may email the editor for approval. Projects are usually written in a relaxed, nonacademic style and should include a list of all supplies required to complete the project. Please include and photos, drawings, or other graphics required to easily complete the project.

Projects may be archived for continued access by our readership. We reserve the right to edit, reject, omit, or cancel all submitted materials (Submission does not guarantee publication.)

All submissions must be submitted in electronic form (email or computer disk). All photographs, tables, figures, or charts must also be submitted in electronic form. Handwritten or typed materials will not be accepted.

References may or may not be printed with projects, according to the sole discretion of the editor. Always include them with your submission for the editor's files, and make them available to all readers who request them. If you have an email address, please include it with submission so readers can contact you easily. Minor editing license may be taken by the editor without prior approval. Submissions requiring extensive editing will be returned to the sender for rewriting. [Top]

HOW TO EMAIL YOUR PROJECT

When using e-mail, please paste your article directly into your e-mail note to us, rather
than submitting it as an attached document. Using your e-mail software program:

1) Save your file from your word processor as an ASCII file.
2) Highlight the entire document in your word processor.
3) Copy to your clipboard by selecting "edit" on the top of the command bar, then
choosing "copy".
4) Close your word processor.
5) Open your modem program followed by your e-mail program; open a new message.
6) Place the cursor in the beginning of the message body.
7) Go to the "edit" command and select the "paste" command.

As a result of following this procedure a copy of this original file should appear within the e-mail message body. If this procedure does not work, please call your server and ask them how to use your particular software. This process allows your article to be read and edited without requiring us to remove needless symbols produced by various word processing programs.

All email submissions should be directed to the Editor (project@familymanagement.com). [Top]
